My bicycle was a trekking bike produced by the company DIAMANT. It was named "Navajo". It had a Shimano Deore gear change with 24 gears, Shimano V-breaks and a hub dynamo. At the handlebars I fastened some extra handles. It had a suspension fork and a springing saddle. So it was good for off-road trails.
My saddle bags were Back-Roller Classics of the company Ortlieb. They were easy to fasten, absolutely water proof and very big. They weren't cheap but they really satisfied me.
This was a special offer by a department store. It was rain proof, big enough for two men and worked well.
This was a cheap one too. But I didn't want to go into the mountains so it fulfilled my requirements.
Again a cheap but sufficient one.
I this bag I kept my most important things like money, passport, ... And the actual cycle map was lying on the top of the bag. According to the KLICK fix system I could take away the bag very easily.
